The Philips DCD-M is a double crystal X-Ray diffractometer which is optimized for a fast automatic measurement.

Analyzing of rocking curves as function of position on the wafer is possible. Rocking curves give information about the quality of substrate, crystal orientation, pureness of layers and
grid defects. The 50W tube is water cooled. Both collimators are optimized for high intensity and resolution.

There are two detectors for analyzing, a Si-detector and a Xe-proportional detector with dynamic ranges of 450:1 and 500000:1.

Chucks for 2, 3 and 4 inch wafers are included.
